This fish has always drawn similarities with cod fish by having this creamy and fatty flavor that will make you the happiest person on earth. A much cheaper alternative to cod. This fish inhabits the deep cold Greenland ocean hence that is why it has high levels of omega-3 fatty acids in order to sustain the cold water. The flavor is indescribably delicious, no kidding. The only thing that is different than cod is it is much thinner. This is because it is a flat fish instead of a round fish.
One way to cook this is to steam it, just like cod fish. Place the defrosted fish on a plate with some ginger, then steam it for 6 minutes. Bring to a boil a mixture of some light soy-sauce, rock sugar, water/wine and some garlic oil, then simply pour it on top of the fish, then it is ready to serve!
